Device Options
Some machines have device options that can be set. If the selected cutter does not implement a particular device option, it will be grayed out.
In the Device Options dialog box, type the name of the material to be used and specify the device settings such as speed, force, acceleration, sharp corners and automatic cutoff at job end for that particular material. Check the box next to the device option to set the desired parameters. To select an existing material type with the device preferences already set, locate the material from the drop down menu and then click OK.
CAM Print
CAM Print will print all objects in the current workspace to the manufacturing CAM Print printer. CAM Print produces the best manufacturing print without any dimensions, outlines or other design/drawing aides.
Print Margins can be set manually by the user and the Units of measure can also be adjusted to show either inches or millimeters.
If more than one object is to be printed, the user can select Gang print end to end and the objects will line up with each other end to end. The user can also set the Space between objects in print material units when using the Gang print end to end as shown in the picture below:
By selecting Automatic paging, the optimal print size will be set automatically by the program as shown in the picture below:
To manually set the Print Size, select a print size from the drop down menu and leave the Automatic paging box unchecked.
To mirror the objects to be printed, select the Mirror image box as shown in the picture below:
To adjust the print scale, set the Scale 1: to a number greater than 0. In the example below, the print scale is set to 1:3:
