SignCAM ? The all new SignCAM? version 3.0 is designed to cut letters and objects for signs, specifically in the transportation industry. Used with its sister product SignCAD? , it will pull all the necessary information needed from the original design to most efficiently cut expensive sign material. SignCAM separates colors, quantities, sizes and material for all letters, route markers and objects to be cut. SignCAM also calculates the square feet/meters of material to be used, for more efficient planning. SignCAM bridges the gap between design and manufacturing by electronically delivering a completed layout and cutting format to the manufacturing area. This process not only eliminates redundant faxes and sketches usually sent to the shop, but also eliminates most duplicate design errors. SignCAM 3.0 allows the user to set device options, such as speed, force, acceleration and other parameters, for different materials when using certain cutter languages. This new version also includes new drivers for Gerber and Anagraph cutters as well as the addition of CAM Print, CAM Print Selected and CAM Print Setup to the SignCAM menu. CAM Print will print all objects in the current workspace to the manufacturing CAM Print printer. CAM print produces the best manufacturing print without any dimensions, outlines or other design/drawing aides. CAM Print includes automatic paging, gang print end to end and mirror image options.
